Jingdezhen hand-painted goldfish mini porcelain bud vases
▪ BESPOKE ARCHIVAL PACKAGING WITH EVERY ACQUISITION
A collection of miniature Jingdezhen porcelain bud vases, hand-painted with red goldfish and blue aquatic foliage. Their scale is intimate: made for a writing desk, tea table, shelf, vanity, or entry console, where a single stem is enough.
The glossy white porcelain ground keeps the pieces quiet, while the goldfish brushwork adds movement without crowding the form. In Chinese decorative language, goldfish are associated with abundance and surplus; here, the motif is kept light, with a small flash of red, a few blue accents, and enough white space for the vessel to breathe.
Use one alone with water and a fresh cutting, a dry stem, or a small branch, or group the five shapes as a collected tabletop set. Their presence is quiet, but the brushwork rewards close looking.
