Jingdezhen hand-thrown reactive glaze miniature porcelain bud vases
▪ BESPOKE ARCHIVAL PACKAGING WITH EVERY ACQUISITION
These miniature Jingdezhen porcelain bud vases are hand-thrown and finished in a blue reactive yaobian glaze. At 5 to 10 cm high, they are made for the close range of a writing desk, tea table, shelf, bedside surface, or entry console.
The glaze moves from pale blue into white, violet, and reddish runs around the shoulders and rim. Because the forms are hand-thrown and reactive-glazed, each piece carries small differences in color density, drip pattern, and profile.
They are made to hold water. Use a narrow-mouth form for a single fine stem or branch cutting, or choose the wide-mouth rounded vase for a small water-rooted plant. A single vase can sit on its own; the five forms read as a small collected group.
Available forms and dimensions:
- Shuidi (Teardrop) Vase: approximately 5 cm / 1.97 in wide x 10 cm / 3.94 in high; mouth opening 0.2 cm / 0.08 in; base diameter 2.5 cm / 0.98 in
