Jingdezhen Wood-Fired Blue-and-White Scrolling Lotus Tea Set for One

Scrolling lotus is painted by hand across a four-piece Jingdezhen tea set made for one. The vine continues from gaiwan to cup and tray, giving a compact personal setting the visual unity of a larger service.

The porcelain is wood-fired at 1350°C, allowing small shifts in cobalt tone, glaze surface, and firing trace to remain visible from set to set. Together with the hand-painted lotus scroll, those variations give a personal tea setting the warmth of a made object rather than the uniformity of mass production.
