A rounded shoulder, rising neck, and gently flared mouth give this Longquan celadon vase an assured, balanced profile. The pale green glaze appears calm from a distance; close up, a fine crackle network brings movement to the surface.
Two sizes let the same silhouette answer different rooms. The 35 cm vase sits comfortably on a console, cabinet, or deep shelf. The 50 cm version has the presence to stand alone, yet its open mouth also makes room for lucky bamboo, blossom branches, or tall foliage.
A full lower body and clean rising neck give the pale celadon room to deepen and brighten with daylight. The vase can move from an unfilled sculptural display to a restrained branch arrangement without losing the calm proportion that defines the form.
