The lapis blue and soft litharge yellow motifs—white horse and lotus—sit quietly within a minimal interior. Fired at 1320°C, the Jingdezhen high-white clay achieves a denser porcelain body. Because the pigments are sealed deep beneath a transparent layer using an in-glaze technique, the surface is entirely smooth to the touch.

The ring handle sits comfortably in the hand and helps balance the cup. The high-fired glaze prevents coffee tannins from penetrating the surface, allowing for a quick rinse after use. It slows the rhythm of the table without asking for attention.
