Jingdezhen Famille Rose Gongfu Tea Set: Nine Peaches and Five Bats

This 8-piece gongfu tea set features hand-thrown porcelain bodies crafted in Jingdezhen, paired with a heat-resistant borosilicate glass sharing pitcher. The set includes a 240 ml teapot with built-in filter holes, the glass pitcher, and six tasting cups.

The porcelain vessels are decorated with the traditional "Nine Peaches and Five Bats" motif, a design long associated with longevity and the Five Blessings in Chinese decorative arts. The design is applied using an overglaze transfer technique in the famille rose color palette. Gold-colored overglaze accents outline the teapot's rim, handle, spout, and lid knob.

While the overglaze decoration is fired at a lower temperature, the underlying porcelain bodies are fired above 1280°C. The glazed surfaces are smooth and easy to rinse after use. The inclusion of the glass pitcher (gongdao cup) keeps the color and clarity of the tea visible while serving.
