Jingdezhen Hand-Thrown Emerald-Green Miniature Porcelain Vases
▪ BESPOKE ARCHIVAL PACKAGING WITH EVERY ACQUISITION
A small series of Jingdezhen porcelain bud vases, hand-thrown and high-fired with a glossy emerald-green glaze. Each piece keeps the surface clear of painted decoration, letting the silhouette and color carry the object.
The glaze is deep green with a smooth reflective finish, while the pale porcelain rim and foot ring give each vase a clean visual edge. The forms are compact but distinct: a globular vase, a tall Meiping form, a low squat vase, and a rounded pomegranate-form vase.
Their scale is deliberately intimate. These are pieces for a writing desk, bedside table, shelf, tea table, or entry console, where a single branch or small cutting is enough. Displayed together, the four forms read as a study in proportion rather than ornament.
