Longquan Celadon Slender Meiping Vase

A meiping is read through its outline: a small mouth, a short neck, a controlled shoulder, and a body that narrows steadily toward the foot. This contemporary Longquan celadon version lengthens that transition, giving the familiar form a lighter, more vertical presence.

The two glaze options change the mood without changing the object. Deep Celadon gives the vase greater density against pale walls and timber. Sky Cyan Celadon catches more light and makes the shoulder line easier to read. Both work empty as sculptural forms or with a single blossom branch.
