Longquan Celadon Slender Bud Vase
▪ BESPOKE ARCHIVAL PACKAGING WITH EVERY ACQUISITION
This 18 cm Longquan bud vase is defined by one continuous line: a narrow foot, gently rounded lower body, long neck, and flared rim. Its slender scale is suited to a single magnolia, blossom branch, or a few fine stems.
Three glaze options change the surface without changing the form. Crackle-Glazed Plum Green adds a visible network over the green glaze. Powder Green is cooler and paler. Plum Green is deeper and more saturated, allowing the silhouette to read more strongly against a light wall.
Local mineral clay is hand-thrown and trimmed, biscuit-fired at 800°C, coated in multiple glaze layers, and reduction-fired at 1380°C. That demanding sequence gives the celadon its depth and makes this more than a small decorative container: it is a concentrated Longquan glaze object, scaled to live beside books, tea, or a bedside lamp.
