The Xishi form gathers almost everything into one rounded volume: low body, short spout, compact lid and a handle that completes the circle. At 220 ml, this version sits comfortably between a solitary tasting pot and a larger shared brewer.

The contemporary teapot is made from unglazed Yixing zini drawn from a family-held clay batch reserved since the 1970s. That material history is carried into use through the clean Xishi proportion, warm mineral surface and a body left unglazed for repeated brewing.

The uncarved body leaves the surface open to inspection. Lid fit, the joining of spout and handle, mineral variation and the direct pour carry more weight here than decorative storytelling. This is the restrained choice for someone who wants one classical Yixing silhouette to use repeatedly.
