This sky-blue Ru ware vase pairs a flower-shaped rim with a slender neck and six rounded lobes. The petal-like outline continues at the scalloped foot, while fine crackle is visible across the glazed surface and inside the mouth. Made in Ruzhou, Henan, it uses an agate-containing celadon glaze in the Ru-ware tradition.

At 24.5 cm / 9.65 in tall, the Haitang vase has room for a flowering branch or a few slender stems without overwhelming a writing desk, console or tea table. Display it unfilled to enjoy the lobed silhouette, or use it to bring seasonal flowers into the room. It comes in a wooden presentation box, ready for a housewarming gift.
